My Clients Say
Directing Voice Talent
What does the client want?
With every recording it’s really important to understand what the client is looking for in the voice over artist. And often there’s not a lot of time to figure that out! I’ll make sure we’re prepped before it gets to the studio. So we can make the most of our time.
Adding sparkle
After a first read, it’s up to me to show how my role as voice over director can steer the recording in the right direction. Who is the recording for? Does the voice over understand the subject? Should he or she be more engaging, serious or smiley? These are important questions to ask, to get something really special.
A changing industry
I’ve spent many years in Amsterdam and in London as a Dutch and European female voice over artist. And I’ve worked closely with TV channels, ad agencies and major brands. Therefore this in-depth experience has helped me understand the skills of a voice over director and audio producer from a unique point of view.
Real voices, genuine results
The voice over industry has changed immensely over the last few years. So now it’s even more important for voice over artists to sound really genuine and authentic. Because I’m an experienced voiceover artist myself, I know just how achieve this.
